Was Sean Penn kicked out of the Governer's Ball?

    (IANS)

Hollywood star Sean Penn's representative has denied reports that the actor was thrown out of the Governor's Ball after picking up a fight with producer Greg Shapiro.

Shapiro is dating Penn's estranged wife Robin Wright.

A spokesperson of the 'Milk' star said that Penn wasn't even at the ball. Hollywood.com reports that his publicist said she escorted her client from the Oscars ceremony immediately after he had presented Sandra Bullock with her best actress award.

'Sean did not get banned nor kicked out of the Governor's Ball or any other function,' said the publicist.
