Ahmadinejad and Gates accuse each other of interference

With official visits overlapping in Afghanistan, Iran's outspoken president and the US defence secretary have accused each other of interfering in local affairs.
While paying his first visit to Afghanistan, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran lashed out at the United States, accusing it of playing a double game in Afghanistan.
On an invite to the country by President Karzai, the Iranian premier said the US was an unwelcome force in Afghanistan and no solution for peace.
Ahmadinejad told a joint news conference with Karzai that the US was being duplicitous in its treatment of Afghanistan.
He said: "Why is it that those who say they want to fight terrorism are never successful? I think it is because they are the ones who are playing a double game. They are the ones who set the terrorists on their course and now they say: 'Now we want to fight them.' Well they cannot, it is impossible. Our policy is full support for the Afghan people and Afghan government and reconstruction of Afghanistan and we will continue this support in the future."
As an aside directed at the US defence secretary, Ahmadinejad posed the question: "What are you even doing in this area? You are from 10,000 kilometres over there. Your country is on the other side of the world. What are you doing here? This is a serious question."
US Defence Secretary Robert Gates, in Afghanistan to review the surge of US and NATO troops, had said earlier in the week that Iran was playing a double game in Afghanistan by being friendly to the government while trying to undermine the United States.
He said on Wednesday he had shared his concerns with President Karzai.
Ahmadinejad has repeatedly played up Afghanistan's close ethnic and religious ties to Iran, while US officials have long accused Iranian political figures of maintaining links to Islamist insurgents in Afghanistan.
Gates left Kabul shortly after Ahmadinejad landed and was unable to immediately respond to the Iranian leader's comments.  Email this story to a friend

Russia was never a problem to any nation.Russia entered Afghanistan only to arrest the drug lords and the then nefarious leader of Afghanistan who were systematically making the citizens of Russia(Then USSR)drug addicts.But your dirty nation USA created a ruckus by accusing Russia of occupying Afghanistan and sent mercenaries and mujahideens to fight against Russia,thereby sucking Russia into a long protracted war.This is just another war in the list of unjustified wars fought or instigated by USA.As for Russia,it was building up the infrastructure of Afghanistan even as it was fighting against mercenaries and Mujahideens who were actually brain-washed by USA.And yes,Iran is trying to provide charity to Afghans,but USA is blocking Iran’s charity.Nobody is a slave in Iran.All those protestors who protested against President Ahmedinejad are traitors.And these traitors were instigated by USA and Britain to cause chaos in Iran.
President Ahmedinejad has gone to Afghanistan to talk about bilateral business.And your defence secretary Robert Gates has gone to Afghanistan to review the US and NATO troop surge there.So there is a lot of difference between the visits of these two people.The visit by Ahmedinajad is for noble purposes and the visit by Robert Gates is only for evil purposes.Troop surges kill people.(NATO and US soldiers always kill and rape people).
Business provides hope to people.It makes them work hard and smart to earn a respectable livelihood.
USA alias NATO is just destroying the Afghans in every possible way. |

Unfortunately you have no clue about the history of Afghanistan. Russia always was eager to have Afghanistan part of their territory but Great Briton (the other evil) was on their way of achieving her goal. Russia waited over a century to fulfill their dream of invading Afghanistan so they could have direct control over the Indian waters.
In 1979 they decided to go forward and invade Afghanistan but after a brutal 10 years war and loss of many thousands of young Russian soldiers they realized they made the biggest mistake ever. It was the will of the brave Afghans coupled with the support of US government that defeated the evil and destroyed its political system which resulted in the breakup of the USSR in.
It is Russia to blame for the destruction of Afghanistan. Iran on the other hand has her own agenda, one being extending their way of Islam branch (Shia) in Afghanistan which is unacceptable to the majority of Afghans. They are not capable of doing anything else to hurt Afghanistan, they only know how to open their mouth and that is about it. And do not be fooled by the bilateral talks of Akhmadinejad, there is more to that, unfortunately you cannot comprehend what is cooking up. If the snake gets too close he will eat you up!
Iran’s government has only one year before the “Green Movement” will take over.

That means he is basiccally a coward and talks tough behind mama’s apron. He reminds me of Adolf Hitler, who also had jewish roots, from his mother’s side and well, you know the rest about him. Ahmadinejad believes that the end of the world is very close and that the Mehdi (Messiah) and the profet Jesus will be coming very soon.

Freedom of choice, must be given to every individual on this planetI believe if nations would guarantee human rights, freedom of choice, No death penalty, freedom of religion, and separation of religion and State. free impartial and fair elections....And free health care for all its citizens...as well as those who are visitors, and foreigners.

Iran is classed as number one enemy by the USA because they are building a nuclear reactor. They get nations to repeat the lie over and over that this is really nuclear weapons which is a lie but its preparing the world for a future invasion. The USA wants to rid the middle east of all enemies of Israel ruled by gangsters. It will be tough for the Palestinians to get a seperate state. Iran is backing Hamas and that bodes badly for Iran. Americans Need to Travel and Saberi Wasn't All that InnocentAs an American, I wish more Americans would turn off the mass media which is run by politicians and advertisers, look towards independent media outlets and TRAVEL outside of the United States. Do you realize that the only people that really care about Iran are the United States and Israel. When stationed in other areas of the world as a foreign correspondent, the differences in attitudes towards Iran between the United States and Israel and other foreign countries is dumbfounding.
And before we start sanctioning Iran for whatever behavior we deem bad this week, realize that it is not the government of Iran that is getting hurt by this - it is the Iranian people that everyone has put so much support behind since the Green Movement started in June. We should really clear up our own human rights violations domestic and foreign before we start pointing fingers at others and not build political relationships with countries that have notorious reputations for human rights abuses - such as China, Russia and Israel.
It makes us look foolish across the globe.
And a P.S on Miss Roxana Saberi - she was living in Iran as an Iranian citizen that took a document she was not authorized to take. It would have landed a US citizen in jail and facing federal charges. She also has a brother who is in military intelligence. Of course the US media will not publish that fact, but his name is Jasper and he is currently stationed in Colorado. She wasn’t an innocent victim and our country paid for her behavior by trading away prisoners held in Iraq and by financially having to fund her lawlessness. |

Lets just take for example one thing, like Rodney King: Here in the U.S., a convicted drugged out felon that charged police, gets beat up (horrible) caught on film and becomes a millionaire, or he could have lived in Iran, do you think their would have been a case in his defense and police officers on trial for abuse...lol... please... you would rather live under Iranian rule huh...Good luck with that. |
